This shit was so nasty I waited 25 mins for bullshit ! I paid $40 for me to get 2 half container of meat and rice 2 big things of “sweet sour sauce “ that tasted like apple cider vinegar , Wonton soup was HORRIBLE ! My food tastes like cinnamon or something it was overall nasty stop cooking food with fruits the pineapple okay but the extra fruits is so unnecessary! Fry your chicken a little harder it was so chewy ! 0/10 seriously and I don’t even write reviews

We read a lot of good reviews so wanted to give it a try...This was our first and probably last time dining here. The atmosphere was a bit lacking. Our order consisted of a shrimp egg roll, wonton soup, the sweet and sour combination, sezchaun beef and chicken fried rice. The egg roll was good and the wonton soup was average. The chicken fried rice was good, it had a nice rich flavor. That' why we gave three stars instead of one. The sweet and sour combination was just weird. The ribs were barbecued then added to the sweet and sour and were mostly cartilage and were terrible. The vegetables were overcooked. The shrimp and chicken were average. The sauce was unusual, it is the first time we've seen strawberries in a sweet and sour dish. The sezchaun beef was very bland, the sauce tasted like canned brown gravy and had no spice to it at all. It was also a weird lumpy consistency. The beef was inconsistent in size and texture with some bite size pieces and some very large rubbery pieces. Some of the green peppers were raw and some were mushy. The waitress was not very good she wasn't super attentive and was kind of talking to herself or something, I'm not sure what it was. She wasn'

I have eaten Golden Lily for over 40 years. Same quality, same taste. The owner, David, takes great pride in his dishes. Its hard to name my favorite dishes, as I love their egg foo young, all the fried rice, chicken subgum, chinese fried shrimp and many others. You will not be disappointed!

Food is fantastic Cantonese style cooking, Feng shui is warm and inviting, with aunthentic Chinese decor and even giant Koi! The servings are huge and the price is nice.

This is my favorite place in Toledo. Every time I am in town, I eat at Golden Lily. Sweet & Sour Shrimp every time. My Dad first took me to their downtown location when I was six years old. Tea pot and placemats exactly the same since :-) Food is worth the trip; authenticly nostalgic decor and ambiance add significant value. Make sure you come, sit down, and eat here sooner than later, as I'm unsure about the sustainability (there's never more than two tables filled every time I'm in town).
